Prerequisites: Level 2 Character, Level 2 Narrative, Level 3 Patterns & Repetition Thursdays, 19:15-21:45, October 29-December 17 Class Show: Sunday December 20, 19:30 This course is a pre-requisite for the Long-Form Improv Studio *If you're a Viola Spolin supporter, please use the supplied discount code to register for this course for free.* In long-form improv, the “referee" in short-form improv games disappears, and all editing decisions are made by the players themselves, in real-time. Further, all "rules" are thrown away, and performers are left to find the “game of the scene” themselves, all while advancing convincing, comedic stories. Over 8 classes, we’ll combine everything you’ve learned in previous classes exclusively through long scene work. In the end-of-class show, you’ll get to show off all you’ve learned to an invited audience of family and friends. We can't wait to laugh and learn with you!
